Not every battery factory needs a full turnkey line on day one. Single-station machines let you automate the steps that bottleneck yield — sorting, insulation, welding, marking and inspection — while manual stations stay where volume does not yet justify automation. Because every NEGUP station is built to the same mechanical and electrical standards as our assembly lines, stations added later drop into a line without re-engineering the process.
In a typical pack flow, the cell sorting machine (NG-004) grades incoming cylindrical or prismatic cells by open-circuit voltage and internal resistance, so only matched cells enter a pack. The paper pasting machine (NG-005) applies insulation paper or PVC to cell terminals before welding to prevent internal shorts. Spot welders (NG-006) and laser welding machines (NG-007) then join nickel strips or busbars to the terminals — laser welding is reserved for prismatic, pouch and cylindrical packs where penetration depth and repeatability decide the joint. The laser marking machine (NG-008) prints the traceability code that links every finished pack back to its cells, and the polarity detection machine (NG-009) is the final safety gate before a pack leaves the station.
Choosing the right station for your process
- Cell format firstCylindrical, prismatic and pouch cells each need different fixtures, welding heads and sorting channels — our stations are configured per format, not one-size-fits-all.
- Output per hourManual and semi-automatic stations fit pilot lines and service shops; servo-driven automatic stations fit production above a few thousand packs per month.
- Data and traceabilitySorting results, welding parameters and marking codes can be exported — the evidence EV and ESS customers ask for in supplier audits.
- Room to growStart with the station that removes your current bottleneck; the same models scale into a full NG-001, NG-002 or NG-003 line later.
Every machine is built at our Huizhou plant and shipped with installation support, operator training and a recommended spare-parts list. Tell us your cell format and target output, and we will propose the station combination that fits your budget and floor space.
