A NEGUP battery assembly line is a complete production cell, not a conveyor with machines bolted on. From the infeed magazine to the packing station, the line covers cell feeding and orientation, OCV/IR sorting, insulation paper pasting, spot or laser welding, polarity and vision inspection, and final packing — with the stations sequenced so that no manual re-handling is needed between them. Because we build the stations ourselves, the line is commissioned as one machine with one control architecture, one HMI and one service contract.
Line types by cell format
- Cylindrical lines (NG-001)Automated lines for 18650, 21700, 26650, 32650, 32700, 32140 and 4680 cells, covering OCV/IR sorting, welding, inspection and packing at production speeds.
- Prismatic lines (NG-002)For prismatic and large-format cells, with pasting, busbar welding and module handling matched to EV and ESS pack designs.
- Pouch lines (NG-003)For pouch cells and soft-pack modules, where tab welding, stacking and sealing accuracy define the yield.
Planning a line: the questions we ask first
Before we quote, we ask four questions: which cell format and dimensions, what output per hour, what pack designs the line must serve, and what level of automation your operators can maintain. The answers decide line layout, station count and the degree of robotics. A line sized for 2,000 packs a month and one sized for 20,000 look similar on paper but are engineered very differently — oversizing wastes capital, undersizing caps your growth.
Delivery includes layout drawings, installation and commissioning at your plant, operator training with English-speaking engineers, and a wear-parts list with recommended spares. Lines ship from Huizhou to ports worldwide with export documentation handled by our team. Automation levels scale from semi-automatic stations with manual transfer to fully robotic lines with automatic feeding and vision inspection, and we size the control system, safety fencing and data collection to match the level you choose. Every line is proven with your own cells during a factory acceptance run before it is crated for shipment.
